How is the cell reception on the road in the desert? Can you listen to music or do you need to have downloaded files?.

VERY spotty cell reception and yes you need to have your playlist downloaded. Black helmets are hotter. Half helmets I’m afraid would be worse.

So I never was without it. I am not sure how bad the reception got out there.
