Good morning all. Glad you are okay Chuck. I have done the bee dance many times over the years. Mostly here it is wasps that are the culprits. I am not allergic per se but I do not like being stung multiple times and then itching like crazy the next few days.

I got my walk in this morning early and will play golf later this afternoon. At least two more months before a slight relief from the heat.

Safe travels to those of you on the road. Thanks for the pics and the stories too.

 

Here. New England the bees start going nuts in September. They know there’s an end coming. They’ll sting without provocation

Russ, We skipped the hiway 50 route and went I80 from Reno to Wendover. I figured it would be a cooler temp and maybe faster.

We are headed for Ely, NV today. It is just too freaking hot to go the southern route to Vegas. The high in Ely is supposed to be a cool 97° today.
