No epinephrine is like adrenaline lt will accelerate your heat rate. I thought my heart rate was already high, so I waited. Had I been experiencing trouble breathing, I would have taken the jab ! . The hospital said I did the right thing 🙂

350 or so miles today...temps varied from 114-116 all day. Snow on the Sierras...go figure.
I was too tired to include a thumb.

I feel your pain Chuck. I was mowing couple years ago and there was nest of hornets or wasps on back side of shed. As I walked by, they attacked. When I got done mowing, face was swollen. Got up next morning and couldn't see out my right eye, face all swollen, so I drove to ER. The rushed me in and gave me iv. Doc came in to check and I asked how long....he said several hours. I told him no way. I have a Memorial Service for a Veteran and I would not miss that. He told me I had no choice. We argued.... he came back half hour later, checked me good, and released me. Told me Thank You for what you do.... you will look funny, but you will be ok. So now wifey panics any time bees come near me!!
Hope you are ok now buddy. Take it easy and rest up!

Evening Woodsnitzes from Lone Pine, CA.
Kristi and I left San Luis Obispo this morning at 0700 so I could have some time to visit with my cousin in Bakersfield. It was 55° in SLO. We rode CA 58 which was an outstanding ride from 101. So good that I texted Greg while we were enroute (you can do that from a CVO, Chris) and told him he would love it. We made it to my cousin’s house by 0900 and had a great visit.
At 1000 we headed to the Bakersfield HD store to meet up with Greg and Mick but they were delayed by the faulty shift linkage. I did purchase and install a new water pump cover and it has successfully made its maiden voyage without flying off. It is the third one that has been on this bike. I can’t say enough good stuff about the dealership there, very nice, helpful people who are truly interested in their customers.
After Mick and Greg arrived, we installed the new shift linkage, bought a t-shirt and asked where a good lunch place was. We were directed to a place called the Knotty Pine that served an excellent French Dip with onion rings. Just awesome food.
After lunch, we needed to make tracks as the temps were climbing and the hottest I saw was 115° for an extended time. Pulled out the sous vide vest and it helped a lot! We stopped pretty frequently for water and Gatorade breaks.

I’m a bit concerned about the fangs on Mick’s bike in those temps, I rarely saw 90°s and only briefly. Mick does the bike seem like it’s running hot ?.
