OK Lou.... you off the hook!!!
Did take bike out for a ride today..... had the PackTalk Bold hooked up, plugged into the speakers mounted in the open face helmet, and it worked as expected. Helmet is a bit snug around the ears, but the music came through fine and I could also hear ambient noises from the outside. So I will expect the new Cardo to work equally as well. As a thought, I think I will offer up my old unit, once the new one arrives, to my riding buddy's son. He also rides, and he may work well with it.

The gang should be here in a few minutes. The coastal breeze will be nice! It's 112* right now.

Evening Woodsnitzes from San Luis Obispo, CA. We started in Colfax and rode down through Sacramento, sticking to 80 and eventually to the 101. The heat started cranking up around Gilroy where we had bumper to bumper traffic for quite a few miles. By the time we got to San Miguel, the temp reading said 116°. We stopped for tacos in Soledad and as fortune would have it we lucked into a fantastic little restaurant called Mariscos, recommend highly.

Once we got to San Miguel, we went to Lou’s house and brought Jaxen some poker chips and a bag of chicharrones for Sammy Jo who loves them! After cooling off a bit, Lou took us down to Morrow Bay for a look around and I have to say, it was damn chilly there with the temp at 59°. Had to put jackets on for the ride up to San Luis Obispo.

Rob is headed back to Portland tomorrow and we’ll miss him. Safe travels Rob! Kristi and I are striking out early for Bakersfield so I can spend some time with my cousin who I haven’t seen in 40+ years. We’ll catch up and head to Lone Pine together late morning.

Mile after mile of farm land in the Central Valley.

Nice rolling hills

Freaking traffic…ugh

Sammy Jo got to play with the CVO key fob.

Coming out of Morrow Bay.

Another of the sea fog around Morrow Bay.
