We had a fantastic trip. The weather worked out well, no issues on the bikes, an overall relaxing ride. Overall, we put on 1100 miles, 2900 miles on the trucks. Dad had a great time and mentioned next year he’s turning 70 again haha!
We really enjoyed staying at Heart in the Hill vacation home. So comfortable and central!

I don't feel quite as envious of the Woods on tour, 100+ would take a lot of the joy out of it for me.

Zal, glad you could make it back to the Hills. Covid screwed it for me in 2020, my daughter was going to rent a place, take the family in the big suv while I towed a couple bikes, and spend a week there. Two more kids, and I think she's given up on that trip, at least for a couple more years.

Good evening from Colfax, CA. Today we left Red Bluff, CA and headed east towards Reno so one of our folks could visit some family that live there. We popped in to Reno HD but I have to say, their staff was not creating any excitement or even greeting people who stopped in to the dealership. Lunch was pretty good at a local Mexican place and afterwards we bid goodbye to our friends from CO, Damon and Jenn as work calls. We rode south out of Reno to Mt. Rose and Incline Village on 431 into Tahoe City. Boy what a mess that place was. Just wall to wall people and cars. Lake Tahoe was beautiful as snow still capped many of the peaks around the lake. We finished up the day by sprinting down I-80 to Colfax where we had to say our goodbyes to Bob who has to head home tomorrow as well. We are back down to 4 bikes heading for San Luis Obispo tomorrow.
