There is a guy I play with in the scrambles that has the most awkward looking swing but he is very effective. It's about 95% arms but his club speed is amazingly fast and he almost always hits it straight at the target. He also gets to hit from the gold tees giving the team a good advantage on several holes.

It was a good work day. I good all my tasks done.

Gonna take **** for this, but at this point I don't care.

I'm having my doctor release me to full duty. It's either that or risk losing the position I've worked for years to get. I'm not willing to sit back and lose everything I've built. So, I'll go back without restrictions and take it as easy as I can until I'm fully recovered.

I'm not broken now, just tender and lack some mobility. I'm not gonna injure myself further, but I can certainly feel more pain if I'm not careful.

The vast majority of what I do anymore is desk work, crime scene, and photography. I don't fight people much anymore, uniforms do that.

you should be able to slow roll your work load ( union protection) the question is will “you” be able to it, or will you try to carry your normal load ?.

I will take it as easy on myself as I'm able. I won't be volunteering for the dangerous stuff and I'll be the last in on crime scenes. So, I'll be okay in that regard. I don't have union protection working for a Sheriff. Ultimately, if I want my job, I'd better get my *** back to it.

So your position is like that of management?. I thought FOP or some other organization set work rules.

I'm high ranking, but not management. we have an HR department, but at the end of the day, the Sheriff, the one man, is responsible for all hiring and firing. If i can't get the job done, he'll find someone that will. I have no more FMLA so my jobbis no longer protected under the State Laws.
