TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge part XIV.
When I got there the cops wanted me to take a torch and cut the bars that were holding it in. Mind you there's a foot of hay all around this deer. I just grabbed its back legs and pulled it out the way it came and drag it outside the pen. Luckily I did not fight me too much.

Wild deer can survive brutal injuries. I've seen much worse on deer walking around grazing like everything was normal.
That injury on the grand scale of things probably isn't that serious.

LOL^^^
My sister's horse got her side cut open worse than that by a boat propeller (idiot sister ran the horse into a boat on the beach with it's motor up). It was unreal. But the vet stitched it up and the horse healed up fine. I suspect the deer will be fine too.

Morning Woods. I think I may get some kubbing in today. Not much, but enough to satiate my appetite. My leg is getting much stronger and I started using a cane around the house. It takes a lot of pressure off my foot and making it more comfortable throughout the day. No scheduled PT so I'm on my own to exercise a little.
ok that’s all the fatherly advice you’re going to get out of me . I presume you’ll do with it what I did .
Experimenting with what the dogs will eat. For the most part they all like mango and apricot, except Tom. Tom is going to be a proper brit and finish his meat before he has any dessert
Afternoon Gents. Thank you Chuck. I know you love me.
I managed to get in a little kubbing today. About 130 miles worth. It's easy out here in Hill Country Texas to stack to miles on a gorgeous day. I noticed a couple minor issues with the bike, nothing that can't be fixed. For instance, the clutch is slipping on the highway. Turns out the pipe and tune are just enough extra power to overpower the stock clutch springs. I'll be installing heavier springs int he next couple days when they come in. Cheap fix.
