Had a nice treat in the garden this morning, heard a big engine winding up with a whistle, looked up and saw a polished aluminum Mustang busting the VFR speed limit I'd estimate at no more than 1500' (if the speed limit is still 160 below 10,000', been a while since I've flown). Flew almost over me, so the trees didn't hide it like most of the warbirds lately, did a 180 close by and went back the other way still in easy sight. He goosed it coming out of the turn, what a beautiful sound. Heard a radial engine a little later, but couldn't see that one, probably a T6, are a few of those that fly around here occasionally. But the Mustang was new to me, haven't seen that one before. Had some yellow and black on it, and the usual military markings, a show bird for sure.
Still on schedule for Tuesday

Two visors and the. Chin up style all in one helmet. Plus the air vents seemed adjustable and firm to use. Meaning they wouldn’t loosen and open and close on your head while riding. My last helmet did that effing annoying

Good evening from Boise, ID. It was a hot, hot, hot ride across the desert of southern Idaho with temps from 102° to 104°. Time for happy hour.
