Hope it was a nice, short, and uneventful ride Chris!!
Just go home from Lansing's parade. I was the only bike there.
Pretty warm out there. Hell it was hot! They could not go faster than walking speed even though there were no walkers! Fortunately I was the 4th or 5th vehicle in the parade. Nice turn out to watch the parade. Last year there were protesters who blocked the street in front of the capital. That ruined the whole parade. Today.....no protesters. Nice turn out, nice parade.

Denny, it was a short and uneventful ride around my neighborhood. About 3 or 4 miles. I'm not ready to get into traffic. I'm still pretty nervous about riding again.
At what point would it be appropriate to ride? I can walk, I can lift the bike, i have been cleared to work by PT proving I can lift and move over 100lbs, standing and walking. I even asked PT if I could ride, and they said if I can move the bike around, riding shouldn't be an issue. I have followed all precautions and advice, except the ortho that said no more motorcycles.
Not trying to be an ***, genuinely asking at what point it would be okay to ride?

Mornin toakers. Chris, if you're physically ready, the rest is up to you. I jumped back on immediately afterwards. Figured it was best not to over think it

You will know....when you feel comfortable and feel like you can handle most things. Plus I like riding in the country....less traffic and less to "worry" about!
You have to think of the "what ifs". What if you put your foot down at a stop and it's loose. Your foot slips out and you need to muscle the bike back to level. It's hard under the best of circumstances. Can you do that in your current condition? Or will the bike hit the ground? And if that happens, can you lift it without injuring yourself?
