Thank goodness, I thought that was going to be another regrettable styling change…

My washing machine is away from the wall waiting for the plumber. Asshat before him used pipe dope on the p trap. Da fugg. Would of been easy to remedy a clogged trap. Not so much now.
I’ll have the guy put in a removable p trap before he leaves.

That guy was obviously not a certified ASE mechanic.

Definitely not ASE. Sounds like something Bob would have done.

Don’t lash out because you’ve been disappointed.

And I saw a crack between the treads. Three strikes. So I did a mad scramble to find Dunlop American Elites last night. Found the front at Cycle Gear in Vancouver. Of course the rear is in Portland, so that had to wait to today. I will say, I have never bought tires from Cycle Gear. I was very impressed with them yesterday. Manager, Angel, has 12 bikes! She really knew her **** and educated me on a few tire facts.

@LoneBone - Did the front, which is dimensionally very close to the rear on this vintage RK. No issues at all with the Cycle Hill changer. In fact it was easier than the back dirtbike tire. I've always thought those were harder to do than street tires anyway. They have super stiff sidewalls and I run 6 ply, so beefy as F. I'll do the rear mid morning and with any luck it goes just as well. Fingers crossed.
Good luck with that rear tire on a manual changer. It's been done many times, but better you than me....

I've seen tires stamped with 2012, but it was NOT the date code. Date code on motorcycle tires always follows DOT, and it will be circled, in a box or window, as in the pic. First 2 numbers are week of production, second set of numbers are the year. So that tire was built between Aug 27 - Sept 2nd, 2007

I've not been disappointed yet Russ. The fact that you guys care enough to offer advice, and rib me means I've been a good enough person to have good friends.

Besides, did you see the disaster Bob left in his old house before he took off to the PNW? Not ASE certified.

Hi Jack!

It's rather fitting, considering the Mack Truck logo is a dog.
