Morning Toakers! Just got home from my Route 66 trip. Tired, sore, exhausted, but happy! Just resting a bit and catching up on emails from past two weeks. I'll be back with bits and pieces. Rode quite a bit of the route, but hard to follow. Road out to Cali, crossed the boarder, and started our trek back. My back was killing me and one of the riders has an appointment tomorrow, so we opted to come back. Hot and windy until we left Ft Wayne IN this morning. We got rain in Indiana and sprinkles in Michigan. So my buddy and I road trip record is intact. Every long bike trip we have taken, we got rain! Saw a lot, missed alot, but the four of us are pretty happy with our trip. We have a bazillion pictures....most of which taken by one of the guys. Once he sends those to us, I'll try to select a few and let you guys see.
Great to be home..... now I need to power clean bike and do 3 hole change and check it out. I think we rode about 4500 miles.... our trip meters seem to be a bit different, so we will figure that out on our re-cap meeting.
Great to be back! Great to have taken trip!!

Morning Woods from the place we sell fire sticks. Glad you made it back in one piece Denny, look forward to some pictures.
So you are doing an iron butt lawn mow and you have 2 hours left?

Gentlemen, seems two days in the shop back to back was enough to dang near kill me. I passed out shortly after my last post and woke up late this morning. I've since had an incredibly difficult time getting up and out of bed.
My foot is unbelievably stiff and sore, but that's "good" I'm told because I'm working it. I was able to get the bike off the jiffy yesterday and my goal of riding in a couple weeks is actually a possibility, though not yet a plan.
