Helmet weight vs aerodynamics is a balancing act. A good FF helmet can feel lighter than an open face if you're in the wind. But yeah, behind a windshield like Chuck is, it's just weight. And less weight = more money. Expect to spend $600 and up for a light FF helmet.

FF helmets are all the rage with the clubs back home. Great way to fly under the radar. But I should probably check with Rounders to make sure my statement is accurate.

So helmets don’t bother me
now what h soon as I put it on for a ride. I’m gonna think.

These Shoei helmets were about the lightest I could find with good safety ratings. Sure, I can get lighter, but at what cost? Expect to pay around $630 for a RF-1400. I retired a Shoel RF-1100 many years ago with the Troy Lee dragon graphics and it was an awesome helmet. Now is a bookend.

I agree Russ. I think Shoei lives in the perfect spot between weight and safety, which is what you said. I love my GT Air. I'll need to replace it next year though. Probably do the GT Air 2 or the X14 same as yours. Might even get one to match you!

I do wish you would have bought Cardo instead of Sena. That way we could talk about everyone else while we ride. Could have really come in handy for WS19. "WhereTF is Rick with our beer?? We need to turn around and find that sumbitch!"

Evenin, fellers. I suspect Chris has TLT on wine #3, the candles are defining the mood and Barry White will have Chris sound asleep before 9:15.

He's come up with this serial killer stuff on Garth, saying people going missing coincides with Garth's tour dates.

GB isn't amused....blocked him on Twitter and Instagram.....
