TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge part XIV.
I have extended our trip home by one more day. We are in a State Park by my brothers house. We had to stop here to get Gracie from them . She is not at all impressed with the new puppy in the family. She’s just a jealous old lady.

Russ, please hop out momentarily when nature calls!
Morning Woods.
A fine day on tap here in Minnesota. Also, I finally get my grill fixed today after a pheasant took my grill out in April! Took that long to get parts.

No progress yesterday, rained in the morning, dried out by 1 am like it never happened, and spent the rest of the day with daughter & family. Granddaughter fell asleep leaning against me so I had about an hour of enjoyable sitting still. Audrey and hubby are close to my opinions on most things, so conversation was easy. Found out the new school building for the private school will have shops for a variety of skill learning, only one in the area; I didn't know public schools here dropped all that years ago. Sending 4 kids to private school is going to be expensive, hope their businesses continue growing.
This week is going to be a scorcher, for MN, a few days topping 90. Humidity hasn't been bad, but it's starting to creep up. No significant rain in the 2 week forecast, time to lay out the soaker hoses in the garden.

a survivor from hunting season?? Thru the winter?! Upland birds are extinct up here. They’re stocked by the state each year. For some reason they can’t seem to survive the winters. And then start out in the wild in the spring.
Hard to imagine right now. It's cloudy and in the 50s here. Bend had snow and 29 degrees!
