Mornin, Woods. @Juan L Russ, did I see a 115 degree day forecasted for you this week? That is dangerous heat.

Morning Woods.

Been up since 3am from the wind blowing all night. Winds are gusting from 20 mph to 40 mph. So far, only one 2” dia branch laying on the ground.

115° heat? That’s crazy.

Yesterday, there was a snow fall warning around Jasper to Banff while Hinton did get some snow.

It’s not helping, that’s for sure. It will relight some hotspots, push the fires around and hinder firefighting. I highly doubt the helicopters will leave the ground.

Tim, is that wind from the north cooled things down enough for snow again around you?.

For us, it’s just cool at 51°. No risk of snow or freezing.

Hinton is part of the Rocky Mountains. So they get snow once in awhile. It helps with the fires in that area.
