Tim, sounds like a fun travel experience…not. Y’all are really burning good up there. I hope they get those fires under control before we all travel up that way. Not much on the plate for today, a little yard work this morning as we are expecting some rain this afternoon. Probably going to smoke a chicken because the missus doesn’t have any chicken for her salads.

Smoked chicken sounds good.
They said the fires are about 4-5 km (2.5-3 miles) outside of town. They figure it will hit the town by the end of the day, yesterday. So far the last update is(10h ago, no significant growth of the fire. That’s good news. And the wind is coming from the south, pushing the fire away from town.

Mornin Y’All. Got pork shoulder going in the traeger today, so I can do 4 racks of ribs in it tomorrow. Don’t see any turtles this morning, so Molly don’t get to say good morning to one today. Hope she learned a lesson yesterday.
