Paula and I were going to ride to the city for supper but that plan changed. The Boy was in Nashville all week and we have his dog. Well I guess whoever booked the flights out didn’t realize they didn’t have enough time to go from international/customs to board domestic. So they didn’t make it. So, they are stuck in Toronto for the night. No big deal. We weren’t going to leave until today anyways.
Well there are 2 flights out of TO to Edmonton, 6am and 4:30 pm. I’m assuming someone in the entourage bitched about getting up early to make the flight and now they are leaving at 4:30. Hes pissed. Paula asked him if he’s staying the night in Edmonton since it’s going to be late (time change).
He said “ $&@? ‘Em, I’m driving home!”
So yeah, our plans changed three times for this weekend. We were going to go to Tumbler, but they evacuated Thursday due to wildfire.
Tim, sounds like a fun travel experience…not. Y’all are really burning good up there. I hope they get those fires under control before we all travel up that way. Not much on the plate for today, a little yard work this morning as we are expecting some rain this afternoon. Probably going to smoke a chicken because the missus doesn’t have any chicken for her salads.
