Aha!
Dealer was not paying attention when he replaced the rear tire, and did not equalize the muffler. If I recall correctly one comes off so you can change the tire.
Aroived in CO Springs yesterday and got settled in. Took the bike to the local dealer this morning and they fixed the leak. A couple of o rings were bad in the tranny. Also got new rear brake pads as the current set were squealing and had about 20k on them.
Started to ride it back to our rental AirBNB and notice that the head unit was dim on one side so I took it back showed it to him. The tech came out and verified that it was OK when he test drove the bike so the moral of the story is don’t wash your bike radio/head unit with a pressure washer.
The service manager came out and took a look at it and said it was working when you got here will make it right and replace it however, they don’t have one available to dealership so I got to come back in the morning and get it installed first thing
Sounds like a decent outcome to an otherwise unsavory situation, Rick. Was it the transmission shaft O-rings leaking? I'm glad you're not getting fluid migration again. @iRider

The service ticket said manifold o ring. I’m an thankful it wasn’t a serious issue. There was a lot of oil.
We were around 800 miles into the Iron Butt and I thought it was the end of my day with all the oil in the top and bottom of the motor.
Can’t remember if I posted it here but I found the o ring for the tranny plug was bad and split when I snugged it down. I believe that it was responsible for the oil on the bottom
