Beautiful bike! The Shovels are going up in price. Even the Cones like that one. I've been watching the ads, but I'm looking for the right deal. A museum piece like that would be nice, but I'm thinking something I can mess with without losing value. Probably an early 80s FX. They can still be had for not too much $$, but most of them have been severely messed with.

His is a '72, Stan.

Safe travels to all who are on the road. Great accomplishment Rick, TNLT and group. Did an air filter recharge , may have to go kubbing and enjoy the massive hp increase.

Damn, while I have been in the garage it has begun to rain. Out of caution for resale value and having just completed a thorough denny I will not be kubbing.

That's a beautiful Shovel Stan. Something isn't quite right tho. No the paint isn't original, that bikes been restored, it should bring more than that unless the market has dipped, and the market don't dip on Shovels and Pans. There's always guys with money. I would think that bike should be in the $20-22K range. Maybe the frame and engine VIN doesn't match? Something weird.

Most FLH's have been messed with like Bawb said, but if the VIN's match, you still have something, because everything else can be bought.

Had a little ride today. Me and two buddies. We all have Cardo PackTalk Bold communicators. Two of us could connect, but one could not. We worked that stuff over and over, no success. Plus mine seemed to act funny...to a point I'm pissed off! Looking at another Cardo unit, updated. Our current models have been discontinued. Really a bummer....it was great having ability to converse on our travels, plus listen to our music.
Safe travels Chuck and Trish. Hope you arrive safely! And safe travels to all!!!
