TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge part XIV.
Hi Bob and Bill.
Bob, we will wend our way up through WA, OR and CA. We also plan an incursion into NV, ID and UT. Just have to iron out some of the details with Herr Mustacher and Mick. Do you have a Ukrainian flag for your residence? That might really trigger your neighbors!

The Packer flag seems to trigger the 'hood already. I don't want to send them over the edge.
@Northern Glide Sorry I missed your birthday yesterday.
Had PT today. Got on crutches. That was a lot harder than I thought they would be. Made my hip hurt. I'm gonna be doing 6 hours a week of therapy for the next 6 weeks, minimum.
I've been sleeping off and on throughout the days. Up late, sleep a little, up early, back to sleep.

I believe the sequence will be CO, UT, ID, WA, OR, CA, NV then on home. Perhaps we’ll just bring some hand held Ukrainian flags for your yard.

Good evening all. I had a long day followed by a long ride home in the rain. It took two hours. I can't believe I used to do that 5 days a week. One is certainly enough. The four day weekend is here and I am ready. DMV tomorrow to renew the tag on Nancy's Harley. I am officially out of gin in the house, I think I may have a small amount in the garage fridge. A trip to the liquor store is in order. While I am out I may go to Golf Galaxy and shop clubs and see about getting my driver re-shafted. I may get them to measure my club speed and fit me better too.

You want to do the most activity that your PT folks will allow. Movement=good. Not moving=bad. Very bad. If they will let you do a mile on crutches - do it. You want oxygenated blood circulating to the damage. Not sure if it's available, but pool therapy is awesome. I spent a LOT of time walking around the pool. That and ice baths followed by heat on affected areas, rinse, repeat 3 times. Promotes healing.
