Jack, sounds like your friends are going to be ok, all things considered. Stories like that is what has me wearing a full face again... plus I felt hypocritical making Gab wear a full face when she rode with me when I would be ok with a skull cap.
Mick, we were standing about 10 feet behind that, close enough to hear what they were saying. I watched the video looking for myself, but no luck.

Good morning Brian. The missus and I now have our Shoei RF-1400 helmets. It’s been a while for me to wear FF again, since sportbike days, but we will be safer and my nose won’t get nearly as sunburnt.
