TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge part XIV.
Pearl looks great, she’s definitely put together with love, and probably some cursing along the way.

She doesn't get ridden much anymore, but after doing all this stuff the love affair is reignited....

Thanks Russ. She was dirty when you saw her.
After putting her together the first time I spent 2 hrs with her on the lift Dennying her up, and man she looks good....

Dang Jack, don't get me to thinking too much. 🤔
Mine would be red.....lol.
Hopefully I've got a few more years to throw the Glide around, I also love my bagger.

Question about the Dennying, what do you do for the engine to blacken it up? I have a product, but I can't remember what it is. It's in the shop and I can't get out there right now. Wondering if it's similar.

Thanks John.....
Right now I'm sitting at about $2,500 in parts for her rebuild. That's all chrome front end top to bottom, new Apes, riser, wiring, connectors, grips, mirrors and a couple other things.

I use Formula B from Cycle Care. Get it on Amazon. For paint I use Harley's spray cleaner and polish. Owner of the Red River Harley here I've known for 35 yrs, and he talked me into trying it. Works great.
