Safe travels Mick! Question - does Hiccup like the kennel visits? I ask because Casper will have to do a few overnights here and there. The daytime visits have gone well.

 

He seems to do fine, Bob. We've used the same kennel for all our dogs over the years.

One of the staff took an instant like to Hiccup as she breeds Australian Cattle Dogs.

I read something years ago that helps me at drop off time. No long goodbye, hand them the leash and go. Dogs pick up our mood and the sad goodbye can excite separation anxiety. True or not I don't know but it works for me.

 

"No long goodbye, hand them the leash and go" ... My folks used to do that with me :<(

Inside chores done. Now onto the shed.

Northing much on tap for today. Maybe go to the farmers market and then a dog walk.

 

Grass cut, some over-seeding laid and now water on.

 

Back, and legal. That was interesting, and fun

 

Naps-r-gud. Passed out really though. The festivities wore me out yesterday.
