Lou, we had the same thing a week ago. Bear climbed up a tree and wouldn't come down. The tranqualized him and he fell onto a large matrass .....you could see about 4 darts in that guy! They checked him and hauled him out to a state forest.

****'s been bugging me about Pearl. She's totally fine, but it's still bugging me. I've cut and soldered her wiring harness twice in the last 12 yrs. The original cut 12 yrs ago held up, so I'm not worried about that, I know how to solder wires together. My problem is I don't want to be dead and in 20 yrs T.J. takes the bars off and says why in the ***** did Dad splice this twice?

So despite the fact that she's beautiful and functions fine, I'm doing this **** right. I've got new wiring harness for both sides long enough to NOT need a splice, and I even got new Molex connectors and pins.

Maybe now I can go to sleep and not be fretting over something silly that ain't even broke.
Lol......right there with you Jack. Stuff like that drives me nuts. I had my forks on the RK rebuild apart 3 times before I was satisfied. I didn't really do anything wrong. I just wasn't happy with some of the aftermarket shims and spacers, so I ordered oem stuff and replaced them. The last time they came apart was because I thought I forgot a bottoming spring. I had an extra and thought.....****. Tore it all apart, which is an oily mess, and the damn spring was there. Not sure where I got an extra.

But the part that really resonates is the thought of someone opening up something I did later and thinking "What hack did this work?" I want them to think of me the same way I feel appreciation for the unknown guy ahead of me when I find a nice piece of handiwork. Kind of a karma thing really.

Good evening gents.
Make sure you spray paint that shed Denny.
Chris I’m sure it makes you feel better being able to get out and about.
I hear you Jack and Bob. I’m the same way with my airplane stuff. I don’t want someone in twenty years coming and saying that was a stupid way to do that

Rob....why spray paint? Was gonna ask son in law to hellp me paint....and that would probably be roll/brush panels and brush trim pieces. And neither of us have a spray painter. Are those expensive?

Evenin, Bob and Rob. Grilled kabobs. Used chicken instead of pork.

Never again.

Denny, at least on my shed the texture of the paneling is variously tight and deep making even brushing difficult. Gloria spent several days this week both brushing and rolling and she asked me to go over and fix all the places she couldn’t get to. That’s how I spent my morning. Damn near repainted the whole thing.
Sprayers can be rented. I got a refurbished mid sized Wagner off Amazon for $100 many years ago.

The reference was to Greg's earlier comments about painting his shed.

Do you have a Molex crimper? I do. Sweet dreams.

Chuck and Trish broke through their mileage barrier today, exceeding the 300 mile limit by 140 miles! Good job Chuck and Trish!

Chuck is in the hot tub now.
