As I describe this be sure to monitor your heart rate. I will not be held responsible for damage. I will be dead heading roses, repairing a faulty sprinkler head and then taper off.

It's a fine Navy day!

There's a vintage chopper show tomorrow in Boerne. I haven't been out much so I asked Layla to take me. I invited Manny as well. We'll see, the boy knows nothing about motorcycles other than one jacked me up. Maybe I can convert him.

My friends are close and are going to have a fantastic day of kubbing today. I'd be lying if I denied being slightly envious. I just keep telling myself I'll have plenty of time to break in the new bike on these roads myself before the season ends.

Take care my friends. I am thankful to still be talking to you.

Good morning Brian. I missed your post scanning through the goings on this morning. I hope all is well on your side of the world. I feel like we've missed each other in the past week, like ships passing in the night.

Morning Chris!

All good here, but have just been randomly checking/scan some posts when I can. I've been extremely busy this week at work and even more so outside of work. I'll try to sound the foghorn more - but I've been seeing your posts and glad that things are remaining positive for you! Did you happen to see that story I posted over in your crash but survived thread?

Looks like I'm getting Gabby out on the bike for the first time this season. Riding up tomorrow up to Albany for a concert, staying the night at a hotel, but that city (our capital) is a dump so we're continuing north to Saratoga Springs on Saturday. Probably shooting him on Sunday

Weather is looking ideal for it, too.

Morning BroDad.

Brian, I did see that post. Crazy story. Life has a way of working out, but it isn't easy and it doesn't fall in one's lap. One must earn it, like I'm earning this.

My short term goal is to have the new bike on a stand mounted upright in the shop. I'll go out there and just sit on it. Given time, I'll be able to sit and get it off the jiffy and back down. Given more time I'll walk it a little bit. When that goes well, I'll start riding a little and see where it goes from there.

I hope to ride to the hotel event about 4 miles from the house the 2nd week of July. I think that's a very lofty goal, but I'd rather set the goal high and not quite make it knowing I did my best, than to feel like I gave up.

One thing I promise, I wont push myself to the point I get hurt. Beyond that, I will push myself to the limits.

Grandkids called and said power went out at school, so I went and picked them up. On way home delivering grandson, several State Police cars came screaming through....down to the school near our house. Waiting for noon news to see if they have coverage of what might be going on. There were probably 8-10 cars down around the school. Hoping nothing serious there!
