Warm and smoky here.

 

Its cooled down, rains have come and hopefully stay for a week but they will be gone by tomorrow. Then some nice weather again.

 

Hopefully help knock those fires down a bit.
How long have the fires been burning? We've, at least I've, not heard too much about them except for the problems with the smoke.

 

A lot of them were the first week of May.

I scored some husband points today. We had a bush that didn't make it over winter. Glo went and bought a new one today, ( I didn't know until I got home). So instead of taking a nap I offered to R&R the bushes. She thought we'd wait for the weekend. I told her with the rain we're supposed to get for the rest of the week, may as well get it done now.
But don't you worry, I'll manage to burn those points up in some mysterious way.

Took an elderly lady friend (Carol, almost two years older than me) to Costco today, not something I look forward to but she only does it about once a month. Smoke is bad again today, so only went in the garden for half an hour at most, supposed to clear out tomorrow, also cool down, and if the joints don't protest too much might get some work done again. Just noticed today that I forgot to put the new license plate tab on the bike, expired in February, lucky I didn't get a cop behind me yet. Maybe the Veteran plate would have gotten me a warning...
