Haven't seen that photo before, or heard that story, thanks. I was in Pasco that morning, couple hundred miles east, and it made quite a boom even that far away. Wasn't long and the ash cloud cloud reached me, and since I was right below the southern edge of it, looking up it was bright sunny blue on one side, solid black on the other, like two pieces of colored paper edge to edge, no blurring in the transition. Never saw anything like it, probably because there hadn't been in this country in our lifetimes.
I had K&N filters on my car and pickup, was about a 12 mile round trip to work (Pasco airport) and I dumped the dust out and washed and re-oiled them every night for a couple weeks. Yakima got hit hard by ash and some people, including cops, took the air filters off because they clogged up quickly and suffocated the motors, and then shortly after the motors were finished for good.

That is correct. It looked like over his head. But optical illusion explained.
I rode a buddy's bike with apes. 2006 Heritage very much like Jack's. Lot's of custom work. It rode out very nicely. I figured apes would be no fun, but it works.

alone both times for me. Cept for the Altima I was basically racing on the Merritt parkway with the GT. He out cornered me but I owned the straightaways
Quick check in. #nosteakforemily has decided to prove herself in preparation for the Woods' invasion. She's eating her steak, medium rare, without ketchup.
Layla had fried ochra but didn't let me get a picture.

The info shows a start time of 9 AM because it was chilly that morning and an end at 10 PM. We stopped for lunch somewhere where we spent about half an hour but we were moving, right until we got to Dallas where some ol’ boy was hauling rolls of hay and lost his load all over I-20.
