I'm not sure if you have ever been here or seen it, but Mount Saint Helens is very prominent in our view to the north. There are some spots in Vancouver and Portland that it looks like it's just on the outskirts of town. I believe the atmosphere magnifies it and it looks impossibly large. My point - it must have really been something to have lived here when it happened. There's no way you wouldn't be able to have a full view of the eruption. It probably looked like the world was coming to an end.

I had K&N filters on my car and pickup, was about a 12 mile round trip to work (Pasco airport) and I dumped the dust out and washed and re-oiled them every night for a couple weeks. Yakima got hit hard by ash and some people, including cops, took the air filters off because they clogged up quickly and suffocated the motors, and then shortly after the motors were finished for good.

Been done with it a while Mick....I suspected the husband from the get go, but never did suspect William Hale ****spoiler alert****
Afternoon Woodrow's....
Front forks are rebuilt refilled and reinstalled with the new chrome lowers and beer cans.
Got the Carlini Gangster Apes on as well, 1.50" version. I have to say, I've been Jonesin for these bars for good reason. Absolutely fantastic quality.

Minneapolis finally got a top 5 on a list. It was about cities' abysmal results at cutting crime by defunding the police. I don't like that place, takes something special for me to set foot in it. Can remember 3 times I've been there since I retired, all with Audrey, last time was an event where she took over as president of a business organization. Was worth it to see my granddaughter singing on the stage.

Welp.....phase 1 complete. Shed was torn down yesterday. Dumpster delivered this morning. The boys came over and we threw all shed parts and lots of junk in the dumpster. Still a bit of room left if I find something around the house. Next step is to go out and spade the ground and level out for new shed. Phase II starts next Friday....install of new shed. Can't wait....get the garage cleaned out and stuff (that I'm keeping) back into the shed. I do have a set of left handed golf clubs if anyone is interested!! Pick 'em up and they're yours! Back is telling me I did a bit too much, but being I'm a stubborn, grumpy old bastard, I'll have to live with it. Told son I had to sit for a few and take a break, he said it's hard for him to think of me as an old man!
So I'm cleaned up and will be heading over to pick up son and grandson and we're heading to MSU baseball game tonite. Think we play Indiana. The baseball coach sits in front of me at basketball games. I only greet him and his family and maybe an occasional comment during the game. He seems to get bothered enough by everyone who thinks they are someone and have to stop and bother him during the game. Plus I respect him and his position and don't ever wanna be one of "those" people.
So I'm out...........

Bike looks great, Jack!
Got over an inch of rain in half an hour here this afternoon. More to come tonight.

538 miles in a little over 8 hours. Not that impressive until you factor in 2 20 minute stops and 40 minutes in gridlock. An audi and I were running between 95 and 116. We passed a cop at 87, but he had a camaro pulled over

Motorcycle forum….😀
Including 2 hours of stop and go traffic on the south side of Dallas. I think Bob is the King of pounding out the miles though.

On the bike I usually stay between 75-80, with occasional blasts to 95. I've only surpassed 100 once
