TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge part XIV.
Been years since I've had so many sore joints and various pains, the digging has certainly contributed plus the usual spring yard & garden stuff, but the sorest spots I got laying under Audrey's kitchen sink. Won't tell her that, though. Dug for half an hour or more today, 3x5 ft hole, and the pile of dirt next to it looks over twice as big as the hole. I hate digging holes, for a long time seems like they refill themselves and you aren't making any progress. Moved several tree trunk pieces that required a hand truck, damned wood is heavy. I'm feeling like I need to finish the projects or won't be able to pretty soon.

Every year seems like there's a better way to do something. When I finish the raised beds that will stop, those aren't moving.

Emily won again. The season is over, 9 wins to 2 losses. She's pretty good at softball and it was a lot if fun to do with her.

She still isn’t getting a steak. Spaghetti O’s for her.
She promised she won't put ketchup on the steak.
No one looks forward to that.
