Saw that to the east of us. I took a ride up the mountain (on the dirt bike) to see if the snow had melted. Yup. It's 100% gone. In fact the roads were very dry and dusty. Had some very nice views of the clouds and mountains -
On other matters, these MN politicians are harshing my buzz.
I expect the red flag law they just passed to cause all kinds of grief for innocent gun owners. But at least the enhanced background check should stop all those gang bangers from buying any more guns.
Morning all. Crazy day yesterday. So Jaxen got suspended from school for a week yesterday. He got caught bringing his pocket knife to school. He was showing his friend on the bus and some kid in another seat was triggered by it and didn't want to go to school because he was so scared. Taking the day off today to meet with the principal and security officer. Thankfully I know both really well. It will be a non issue. No cops involved or CPS. Both former military and level headed.
I think half or more of the boys carried knives when I went to school, grade school anyway. Never heard of one knife fight, they were a boy's proud tool. One of his proud tools.
When I lived in Tulsa from '72 to '73, that was by far the worst driver place I've ever been - and a lot of it was deliberate. Never been anywhere else that was even a close second. Every place else in OK was normal, it was just Tulsa.
I notice Michigan or Minnesota did not make the list.
I've driven in all those states, and would rank them better than Minnesota, but I have to admit most of them were decades ago, could have gotten worse. Probably the whole country has.
Been years since I've had so many sore joints and various pains, the digging has certainly contributed plus the usual spring yard & garden stuff, but the sorest spots I got laying under Audrey's kitchen sink. Won't tell her that, though. Dug for half an hour or more today, 3x5 ft hole, and the pile of dirt next to it looks over twice as big as the hole. I hate digging holes, for a long time seems like they refill themselves and you aren't making any progress. Moved several tree trunk pieces that required a hand truck, damned wood is heavy. I'm feeling like I need to finish the projects or won't be able to pretty soon.
My senior year of high school, I brought grandpa's WW2 bayonet to metal shop to sharpen and polish. A lot of trucks in the parking lot had gun racks, with guns
