Afternoon Woodsnitzes from the house. Safely negotiated left lane campers and highway patrol ticket writers.
There's a very noticeable police presence in this neighborhood. They seem cool, lit up their lights to warn me, rather than pull me over. Everyone seems to give riders a wide gap too
Afternoon Woodrow's...
Juan L's tires have been successfully mounted. Little bit of a struggle. Every Metzler that I have mounted have been the same way. Tough hard sidewalls, and that is a GOOD thing in a motorcycle tire, just a little extra work to mount.
Couple of red draws at the Deuce and our adventure is over. Russ did scratch his head a time or 2 trying to balance the rear wheel.
I'm off to babysit Miss Miss.....

In this picture, I’m waiting for the heavy spot to roll around so I can add weight to the rim. Jack isn’t kidding about the Metzler sidewalls, they are stout! I don’t think you could spoon those tires on to a rim.

Afternoon Woods! Went with my Pop to Colorado Springs to look at some properties. 3 had a **** ton of cactus on them, 1 was in good shape....prairie grass, water, electric, tiny home and a prefab metal garage. It's near the top of his price range but he might be able to make an offer the owner will accept
We wrapped things up at Golden Corral with Beth & the kids.

Ask him what he uses for an air chuck when setting the beads on tubeless tires. Never had much luck with standard ones, then I removed the valve stem depressor from a cheap one and drilled it out as big as I dared, what a difference. I know there are chucks designed for that, would be easier to use. I've had tires that were harder to seat the bead than changing them, until I modified that cheap chuck.

That is a knee slapper, Chuck. The Mean Girls give it 2 two thumbs up.
