TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge part XIV.
Since it's not raining currently, I may run my errands on the bike. Get them done today so I can wait on Gloria hand and foot tomorrow.

Cheryl and I will likely go for a nice scenic loop today. Supposed to be quite warm so we'll head up into the mountains.
Tomorrow we're going to Cannon Beach and spending the night. Should be great. It will be in the 90s here and 70s there on the coast.

Looks great John! It's nice getting settled, I know. We lived on outdoor furniture for 6 weeks until our stuff showed up.

We had to leave our furniture in Tennessee. I didn't want to buy new, but told the OL that we'd use the money from the sell to buy good stuff one time. There are still items to be delivered.
On a side note, talking with a former colleague and found out my old boss got himself fired. Apparently he decided to just ride it out until the plant closed. Higher management had other ideas

Success! New battery and starter. She fired right up. Needs an oil change plus a deep cleaning.
Before the moratorium on fried food I loved fried okra covered in hot sauce and dipped in s nice strong cocktail sauce. Sounds crazy but it is awesome.
No name new starter. Picked the highest rated, lowest cost starter. Not putting a ton of miles on anymore. I'm sure the starter clutch will fail eventually. I'll upgrade it when it fails.
Funds are tight with only one income.

Afternoon Woodrow's...
Juan L's tires have been successfully mounted. Little bit of a struggle. Every Metzler that I have mounted have been the same way. Tough hard sidewalls, and that is a GOOD thing in a motorcycle tire, just a little extra work to mount.
Couple of red draws at the Deuce and our adventure is over. Russ did scratch his head a time or 2 trying to balance the rear wheel.
I'm off to babysit Miss Miss.....
