TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge part XIV.
They seem to be, Greg. Found one in the mustang trunk earlier. TN house is officially sold. Bought some furniture, washer, dryer and assorted stuff today. Tomorrow the invisible fence people come out. I want a backup generator too

And then? John, how close to the coast are you?
Greg, that's a cliffhanger so you followup with more questions, silly billy.

Determined not to make changes to my RK until a few tanks of gas are burned, Oh, well. I rode it to a town about 2 hours away from the house. It really worked well, but the grips were uncomfortable and it is time to remove the unused heel shifter. The old grips were X2 type, square-ish...Don't like the look or the feel. Those are replaced with the HD "Get A Grip" pair. Heel shift will happen after I post this.
I am not 100% in love with the suspension on this '04. Time for some research.
Cheers, TOAKers

Suspension is something that can go off the rails as far as price goes. Given the age and the way you're likely riding the bike, Legends and Progressive are both options that won't break the bank like Ohlins and would likely serve you well.
I'm anxious to get back to shuffle. I'm bored, I hate this being broken ****. That said, it's sleepless nights like this that remind me how fragile I am and how damaged my body is. I just pray I get back to normal and cam get away from this pain.
I can probably ditch the pain over time with use. Most of my pain is muscular anymore, with thr bone pain added in.
Oh, fun side note. The screws in my foot cost $7000 each and I have two. So $14000 in parts and another $6000 for the drill bit. My foot cost alomst as much as the bike that put me there.
