.The evening news said we had some snow flurries here in mid-Michigan. Wasn't much, wasn't long, wasn't heavy, but it is a sign we will be getting more in the weeks ahead.

Evening Woods.

I wanted to change change my scope on my Ruger 10/22. So I bought a Weaver picatinny base with Burris scope rings because the salesman claimed they go together.
I took everything apart on the old setup, blue locktite the new base on and then start putting the rings on.
They don’t fit. Picatinny and the rings have different slot sizes.
Quickly run to our sports store (if you want to call them that) before they close and bought Weaver scope rings made for picatinny rails. They don’t fit either.
Little did I know that Weavers picatinny rail cross slots are slightly narrower than the actual picatinny ones. So now I have to order an actual Picatinny rail.
What a cluster &$#*

Evenin Woods! 11 hour day but I got the disks erased on 4 servers. /they were the easiest yet as they had all SSD drives (no spinning disk, solid state like a thumb drive). The last 4 I will do after my 4 day weekend.

I have a mentoring event tomorrow where 9th grade students will build battle bots using Spheros. It should be fun. Saturday we're going to a retirement party for my last manager, a title he is unknowingly passing to my current manager who is leaving the company. Way too much going on with werk!

Still new. No holes in the walls. Urinals have fresh cakes. Liquor is full. Ashtrays are empty. Still no female waitresses. Food is ok. Music choices really depends on who’s up late and drinking.
But we did manage to save the crushed velvet paintings.
