TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge part XIV.
My dd214 was pretty dog eared when I finally got the equipment to scan it and make a few copies. 'Puter let me get rid of the splotchy gray areas from the scan and darken the faded print so it was easier to read. Even after all these years I occasionally need it, and so far everyone has accepted my copies. Just had a thought, should give a couple copies to my daughter, don't know if she might need one to clean up after me when I'm gone.
Lot of adversity lately. Chris, I'm hoping you'll be pain free soon and heal up as soon as possible. Hope to hear you're happy after your friend's surgery, 44% success rate is still a lot better than none, hope the docs have a good day with him.
Mark, hope a job opportunity comes along soon.

Evenin, Woods. Not as good a day for Sherri's Mom today as the last few. Disoriented most of the day.
Moldy, and others who are eligible, if you plan on being buried in a national cemetery when the time comes there is a process to reserve space as well as a form with pertinent info for your marker. I filled one out years ago and my kids have copies. Info available on the VA website.

No kidding, I'm hearing more about dog owners face-timing their pets while gone, but I would think it would confuse the little buggers. Can't say I'd recommend it.
