Beautiful day outside today but with these fully dilated eyes I gots no use for the sunshine till later today. Think I will see if I can con my grandson into a walk after I pick him up after school. Probably have to trick him that we are dinosaur hunting.

Not really. I just check them at every tire change. If they roll smooth, I don't mess with them because you got a good set. It's a crapshoot as to what you will get because QC seems non-existent on the bearings. A bunch of them have been sent out or installed at the factory dry. Had over 50K on my Street Glide bearings. Changed the ones on my 2011 at 25K because they went bad. I just checked the 2008 RK and they seem good. But I have no idea if they are original or have been replaced.

I'm trying to figure out why this is Greg's fault lol.

Same here though, I'll keep the bearings as long as they're good. I just check them well. But, I've had a wheel bearing explode while riding and that was no fun. In the defense of the bearing, however, the belt had been over tightened by the dealer and killed the bearing prematurely. It had over 30k on it at that point.

Looking for a win/win with the missus? Watch Magic Mike - Last Dance. Yeah, yeah.....make strippers. I get it. But this one stars Salma Hayek. We get to see her in action. Not quite at Dusk Till Dawn level, but not super far off. And there is a few amazing dance sequences with a young female dancer. I've never seen a better bod in my life. Dancer thing I would imagine. We watched it last night. I'm banking Atta Boyz with Cheryl while getting eyes on Salma - not a bad deal.

Most bearings are made in China but the few China sets such as All ***** seem to be really well made. I put an All ***** set on Purple, front and back a few years ago, rode that bike to Sturgis and back, put some miles on it since then and zero issues.

If they feel good when I pull the wheel and check them, I don't worry. You theoretically could pull a good set that nothing was wrong with and have a not so good set installed.

Early afternoon Woodrow's.....
