TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge part XIV.
We are headed to So Cal Saturday. 96 degree forecast. Thankfully the following week is high 70's, low 80's.

Evening gents! CoC day here. No riding - too busy shuffling cars. Picked up the new work lump and still have the old one. The casual observer might think we have a thing for white Chevy Equinoxes. Based on how long it takes for anything to get done, we'll probably have the two of them for months. Free car, free gas, so I don't care.
Other than that, sitting on the patio with the lovely Cheryl enjoying a cocktail in the sun. Could be worse.

Evening Woodrow's....
I told Tim (Tri-Glide guy) to come by if he wanted and I would have a go at the fender that his brother in law put a huge dent in. He wanted....
We pulled the fender, flipped her over and gently went at her with a soft blow hammer. To say I'm shocked is an understatement.
That huge dent popped back out clean, and you can't even tell it was there other than a small scratch where initial impact was made.
Very cool....

Way too early and sober for that Mick. As we drink more we'll add music and maybe a little outdoor gun cleaning.

Question - did you heat the paint with a blow dryer?
Sometimes it's better to be lucky than good. As big as the dent was I figured we could pop it out easy enough, but I also expected a paint crack like you mentioned.
Nope....nada. Sometimes it's amazing what a big dummy with a hammer can do....

Yes rubber hammer. After he drove off I realized I should have taken before and after pics, but I didn't, probably because I had my doubts it would be a successful venture....
