Morning Bob.
They do, as long as it’s their French and their way. Quebec people are proud people. Too proud for their own good.
Case in point:
We have a small French community east of us. The old generation originated from Quebec. We all went to school together, play sports together, bush parties etc.
The small community have a French tradition they do during the winter that originated from their Homeland. La Carnaval. It’s an all French tradition of music, games, dances, food and drink. The mascot is La Bonhomme Carnival.
It’s the one in the white.
Anyways, 20 years ago, someone from Quebec was up, went to the Carnaval here and eventually went back home to Quebec. No big deal.
That summer, the committee or board that puts on the Carnaval here received a cease and desist letter to stop using Bonhomme Carnaval.
Like I said, it’s a Quebec tradition straight from the Motherland but because it’s not in Quebec, they had to stop. Makes it tough to keep traditions and be proud when they pull stuff like that.

Ee are playing LA. First game on Monday.
Tough match right out of the gate. Kings came out of nowhere this year.

Yeah, those two teams have a past lol.
Kings led that division most of the year and then fell off a bit. Be interesting to watch how they hold up.
