No, they were take offs from Ebay. Came off a 2008 bike when it was new and have been sitting pristine in a factory box ever since. Got them for $150.

Those legs you put on yours look perfect for that bike.
I could probably do mine in a couple hours now that I know what has to be done.
Smart plan. That bushing can get a bit snug. I'm glad it worked out for you.

You could easily do it Stan. There's very little to it. Just need the right tools - seal driver and in my case a spring compressor. I was able to do my 2014 bike without it but the older bikes are a bit more challenging.

We're jamming tunes right now Russ. Albeit indoors. It's not horrible out - 50 and cloudy. But we brought the party indoors. Beat Cheryl 3 for 3 in Cribbage. Skunked her once. Not her night.

Hi Bawb...

Have you ever done something as simple as change the fork fluid in a Shovelhead?

Holy ****, give that a try sometime!

As Jack just mentioned, it looks scary with all the pieces, but it's actually pretty easy. Hard part was getting the instrument bezel off and back on and the tire. If I was smart, I would have raised the jack to the next stop so I could use the floor jack or scissor jack to get the tire off and on.

Thanks, Chuck. Hopefully there'll be some sun tomorrow and I can get a better picture.

I've done a lot of different bikes but not a Shovel. Is it that different?

The plastic pieces that house the speedo and tach.
