Chris, good to see you up and at em. All that silly PT stuff has got to seem pointless, but you have to get those building blocks in place before you can start the real work. Keep at it, that RG ST is calling your name

 

Lunch time, made a batch of pork taco meat, will have a tostada or two for lunch and watch the final episode of a series on Prime. Near the end two of the female characters decide they like kissing each other and the show gets a bit weird. Liked the way it started out but wouldn't recommend it. Hunters, with Al Pacino. Time to eat.

 

BroDad, my biggest frustration is the lack of continuity of the staff. I have to ask for pain meds to get them, up to 10mg every 4hrs. It's jeeps the pain down to a manageable level.

The other night I got my pill at 12am and asked them to bring it in at 4am and wake me so I could stay on top of the meds. I wake up at 530 in severe pain and call. I ask why I hadn't been brought the pill. Because I didn't ask for it. I responded by saying I did ask for it, 4hrs early. No one said I had to ask for it when I specifically needed it and if i asked early i wouldnt get it anyway.

I politely explained that time management was a skill i was struggling with, especially while alseep. The charge nurse agreed with me and has since asked my doctor to ammend the orders to be sure I get them theought the night.

 

I got nothing. While I do nothing and get paid something.

 

They should know better. The lack of sleep I mentioned was because they should wake you up to administer meds and give you a quick look-see. Pain management is exactly that - management. It has to be monitored and administered before you are in pain. There is absolutely no reason to be in pain at this stage of the game. Discomfort.....sure. But tolerable discomfort.

First showing in thirty minutes, should be interesting. I think she has it priced too high, but we'll soon see
