Why was the other side so much more difficult?
Nothing would line up + I misplaced a big washer, then a shackle nut .

Picked up the RK. I just paid the tab and took it like man. They did an awesome job detailing the bike. That is worth a lot to me. Maybe I can keep it looking good until we hit the Blue Ridge Mountains, I have decided to take the RK this year. It will be more fun on the twisties.

Back home now I decided happy hour starts early today. Tanqueray and tonic with a splash of genuine Key lime juice. Later I will catch FAU and hope they can whip San Diego State. Then if Miami can whip U Conn it will be an all Florida final. Fat chance but at least it is possible.

Jeff, did they produce the old starter and show you why it was toast?

Afternoon, Woods. A bit of kubbing, a bit of yard work today.

Going to a play this evening lest I be accused of losing my refinement.

Greg, I let it go. I felt like I could not win the argument. If they had a perfectly good started they were not about to hand it to me. If not, then I needed a new one. A battle I chose to not fight. I will drive the extra mileage to Lakeland from now on.

Yep, much easier when they're clamped down.

Woke up to this this morning. The ground was bare up to that stack of mesh rebar and none on top of the stumps yesterday. Global warming in Minnysoda.
Notice the evergreens, this was a wet and heavy snow.

You probably don't want to hear the 7 day forecast here, Moldy.

Got a group shot of Audrey's tribe last Monday, even got Carol in it. Two days later 5 of us were bending over the toilet. Part of raising kids. If I could have seen this photo 60 years ago, I wonder if I would have taken so many dangerous chances.

That's a table that can seat 12, Audrey made it by herself. On wheels, so it can roll out a bit to let the kids get on the bench seats against the walls. She made those a few years ago, brought a bunch of nice wood over to cut on my table saw. Would have been easier if I'd had my chop saw then.

Her husband just bought a warehouse with plenty of office space, and setting one room up as a playroom. They'll each have an office and can bring the kids to work when needed. I can donate a 75" tv that's only a little dark on the bottom half...
