Evenin Woods, changed the leaf springs on the front axle of the RV today. The driver’s side took two hours. I was feeling pretty good, because it took me four hours to change on the trip down ( in a rest stop) when I had one break on me. The drivers side took Ten hours 🤬 and kicked my ***. Just now finished and cleaned up. I may need hospitalization tomorrow

Why are you going through leaf springs?

I replaced the rear axle springs because the previous owner overloaded the RV and bent the main leaf . I hit a road “repair “ on I 10 this year and it broke the front axle spring ( I had brought one of the old rears as a spare ) good decision on my part. I ordered two new one for the front, I hope I’m good to go now.. My trailer should have had 8k axles , it is not built heavy enough for what is demanded of it.

Chuck, not sure I’ve heard any more developments on the power integration. Have you got everything debugged now? Do I need to put on my thinking cap when you show up in May?

If I had been thinking like a guy made of bricks , I would have ordered four new springs for the 8K axles, ( they are the same dimensions, just one additional leaf ) than the 7K springs.

Evening gents! Twas a long day at the shuffle. Dragons were slain and my name shall be heralded by the Gods for at least 15 minutes. I celebrated by taking my fair maiden to pound town and am now enjoying a tankard of Made Marion Marionberry Cider. Not sure if that is on the "drink list" or not.

And his name is Lars. If he suggests a sponge bath just close your eyes and roll with it Chris.
