DK is a good company, bought a few tires from them. I forgive mistakes like that when they make it good, even puts them on my preferred list. Getting close to time to order a set for the 1200, will definitely check DK's price. One of these days I'd like to visit their store, be a nice day ride north.

Doc ordered a lung scan for me....had that this morning.... got notification that there was nothing major wrong. Couple items noted, but from what I understand from the results is they want me to have another in 12 months and there are not major issues with me. I told the young lady doing the scan that wifey wanted to scan my head and see if I had a brain....she chuckled and said no problem! She said my head was full of stuff! I think what I really need to do now is get up off my *** and move around more. Starting to take dog for a walk now....weather decent enough that I feel comfortable going out. Maybe I can get up to a trip around the block!! ok...that is what I do now...around the block with him.
Glad to hear you're feeling better now Mike. Sounds like the good ole 24 hr flu. Knock on wood.... I haven't had any thing major this year.

I bought some Metzler CruiseTecs. They are reported as being a little softer than the HD/Dunlops and I’m good with trading some miles for traction.

She is fine, not happy with the scar that will be on her pretty face but he did a good job and it will be fine. Scars are cool and I told her they are sexy.
They did the tires for me on the Road King and I was pleased but it was tires, no variables. I tried them because of proximity too but not sure they won we over. Lakeland is still the best because I know the tech and he is honest with me. Trust is key and I now do not feel I can trust the CR dealership after this experience. I will give them the benefit of the doubt until I see the old starter. If they have a song and dance and can't produce it then I will know.
