Yes, Crystal River. I should have taken it to Dave at Lakeland but I opted for close by and figured we could eat some seafood after dropping it off. The seafood part of the equation was outstanding. We went to the Crab Plant for the first time and it was excellent. Typical Florida joint they line up to get it, no atmosphere whatsoever but great service and food. It is always about the food.

Jeff, it sounds as if you got “Deluxed” which is a metaphor for the treatment one poster received in Gillette, WY when he needed a new rear tire. Dealership said he had to buy a new front tire too. Ended up costing him well North of seven bills.

Jeff, I trust your wife is well.

The surgery went as good as could be expected. They cleaned and removed non viable tissue for the avulsion injury and installed a drain. It was closed with mulitple layers of sutures.

The foot bone, Talus, was repaired with a few screws and hurts like hell, but hurts less than it did, so that's good.

When I came to, my left shoulder felt almost normal. Turns out it was broken and they fixed that too, so that was cool of them.

The back pain has subsidied some and I'm sitting up better today. Ill bust my *** with PT when they come in. Get the back brace on and pretent I'm back in boot camp, taking orders and pushing through the pain, to a point. They PT people had some tricks to help me move different ways, so they clearly know what they're doing and i will trust them.

Stay positive, Chris and listen to those who have done this a bunch more than we have. Based on my experience the PT people will push but if you tell them it's painful they back off. Establish a 'safe' word or phrase...something along the line of 'oh, **** that hurts like hell"
