TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge part XIV.
now I’m hungry.
Oh Al, if you had only been here to provide direction.
After a wholesome breakfast with Mick and Sherri, we said our goodbyes and I set out to do some final tweaking in the motorcycle trailer before pulling out of an OKC IHOP.
Everything looked great except I could not get my monitor to recognize the secret agent 007 camera inside my trailer. I checked all wiring and connections, confirmed monitor functions and attempted to resync the camera and the monitor multiple times for over 20-minutes.
Moving back into my trailer, while maneuvering inside with limited space, my fat *** actually toggled the trailer interior light switch to the on position (I had purposefully wired the camera to go off with the interior lights).
Wa-La, suddenly the monitor came alive.

Either we, or our kids are getting too old.
We had a great ride north for some food. Then we went back past our house and went about as far again south down to San Ann to listen to some music. @Backforty we ended up at Ralph's and there was a couple of guys playing some awesome blues, you would have enjoyed it. Amy and Tammi want us to play there, I have to call Amy later to set it up. I have played there dozens of times over the years but it's been about 4 years since we last we there. Back in the day we used to play these gigs there when the beer distribution company was having a big promotion. They would send out the scantily clad Bud girls and had lots of give-away items like coolers, chairs, etc., with Bud logo. It was always packed to the gills. I remember we were in the middle of a song and on of the Bud girls came over to me on the edge of the stage and spoke into my ear. She said that she put some tickets in the bucket for the raffle with the band's name on it since were playing and not able to purchase tickets as they went around. I shook my head affirmatively and thanked her. It was a nice gesture. Then as the song continued, I made my way over to the drummer, leaned in and hollered in his ear that she said she wanted to do the drummer. He lost it and missed several beats. It was funny as hell. The rest of the band was looking around wondering what happened.
