I think it says something about the folks on the TOAK that we have a lot of kids we're proud of, especially when I read about problems some of us have had with relatives' kids. I think the real problems with a lot of kids these days is their parent's failure to raise them right. I only have one, and I have no complaints about her at all. Well, maybe miserly Dad might think getting a Tesla Y was pushing things a bit... Do you know what those things cost?
Closest I got to Al was on the phone sitting on Mt Cobb. Waiting on a quick clipper to come thru. We both agreed that that day wouldn’t be the best to traverse his area. Especially with a pup in the middle of a 240 mile trip. That was February 2021.
Evening Woodsnitzes. We have closed out this portion of Stan’s trip. Not many people can say that they completed the break in of their bike on the Three Twisted Sisters. We rode many miles, had just as many laughs and launched a flotilla of beer schooners. Met up with Jack today in Whiskey Falls and as usual, great to see him and thank him for taking time away from his sweet g-daughter to come hang out for a couple of red draws. Another milestone for Stan was that he enjoyed fried okra.

Evening gents! Looks like a great time was had by all in Texas. Good to hear.
It's a super easy swap. $1000 is pretty nuts.
I took the Road King and dropped it off at Crystal Harley. I asked for a quote to install chrome lower legs. It was north on $1000 so I decided polished aluminum looks great. I just does not seem like it should cost that much. I will keep an eye out for a set a the monthly swap meet and install them myself. I am sure I can get it done that way for less than half what they wanted. Meanwhile they will replace the starter gear and find out why the engine light is on. I suspect that will be an O2 sensor or some pesky useless part not even needed that also makes it necessary to have a computer system to make sure it is working.

Supp woods. Still poking around although I’ll be busy for the foreseeable future it seems. All daytime duties. So that’s a blessing. I know I’ve worked 2/3rds of my life with the sun down. It’ll be a welcome change.
They are safely in OKC.
