For the first day of spring, I see the strong south wind I drove against yesterday is still a factor in today's weather.
Topeka is only 35* this morning, as I'm heading out for a morning walk.

Stan, the welcoming ceremony will be somewhat muted. The trumpeter we hired who wears a Beefeater costume notified us he has developed a cold sore and is unable to perform.

That's OK Mick, a "cold" sore .....lol. Knowing tonight's gathering was black tie, I forgot my tux at home and was afraid I'd have to do a quick rental.
