TOAK, The Thread of All Knowledge part XIV.
No good news to report ... Looks like I'll be off for at least a couple of weeks ... He's concerned about Rotator Cuff damage but the money guys at our Workmans Comp insist on doing rehab measures first ... We shall see

My mom was having pain in her right side down her leg. Thought it was ciaticta. Turns out the pain was from the onset of shingles. Then she collapsed yesterday morning. My dad called me. I took off from work and got to Kansas as quick as I could. Came in at 0200 last night and I've been with her today.
She has pneumonia and sepsis and to top it off, a heart blockage. Luckily a stent should clear the blockage. An antibiotic is taking care of the infection. This came so suddenly. I left work, locked my office and was on the road, packed on less than 30 minutes.

Maybe time to hire the acclaimed law firm of Dewy, Screwem & Howe. Insurance won’t pay for the proper treatment until they have wasted additional money on the cheaper ineffective treatment first . An MRI would tell the DR. the information he needs to make an accurate treatment plan, but of course, Insurance doesn’t want to pay that bill for fear the results will be negative. So instead they insist on physical therapy first, which could worsen the condition and prolong the time the patient is in pain because they are cheap . This is the reason we can’t watch a tv program without seeing a hundred commercials for lawyers.
