Bill, we have a really nice LVP floor. I do not think it floats, but I believe the product could be used in that manner. Normally I do not like "fake" wood. I'm the guy that, as you may recall, spent ten grand on doing a oak floor in my last home. But these are really nice. Take a beating from dawg claws, sliding chairs, and dropped wine glasses, that I can say. And not bad looking -
And no.......the Chucks are not size 15.
Anyway, I can look at the spare flooring and see if it's stamped with a manufacturer. I would use it in our next house.
