Have a couple days of mild snow melt before two back to back rounds of fresh stuff comes, or so say the weather guessers. Just hope this gets rid of the ice on the driveway, that's a problem. Need a torrential rain to wash off the piles of rabbit poop, damned rodents use the drive for a toilet. Actually, they just poop all the time everywhere, and when this much snow melts, the many layers of poop make a terrible mess where you want to walk. Where did I put my air rifle...

Former dinning area is doing double duty as motorcycle workshop and garden. Start seeds in trays on heating pads, then transplant to individual cups. Not doing a full garden set yet, just a few each of several varieties to hopefully have some to eat earlier. Sometimes that works, sometimes the ones started 2 months earlier start bearing the same time as the later ones, weather here isn't great for gardens.

Naps are gud. Looked outside and it has begun!! Snow starting to fall. Gonna be busy next couple days. Gotta keep eye on snow tonight.... try to blow out drive at least once before I hit the rack. Gotta get up early tomorrow, blow snow again, then head to Post for my manager duty, then to MSU basketball game at noon. Hope to clear enough snow so it's not terrible.... hate the thoughts of 12" in the drive!!

Neighbor - "Hey Mike! I see you are doing some indoor gardening. What are you growing?"

Mike - "Oh.....the usual things, vegetables and herbs."

The vegetables and herbs -

Good evening all. It is beer-thirty here at the Tonebender Estate. I think we are going out to dinner with friends but I do not know where. It does not matter since my diet is so limited these days.
