Finished up watching the Dahmer documentary on Netflix. That dude was one FD up individual to say the least.

Built up the sides with the crutches and studs, then hooked onto the middle of the beam with my engine hoist to get it vertical. Used a 2x6 top plate to tie into the sides. My brother in law and I lifted it, his wife and mine held it in place while we braced it and got it in permanently.

Evening, fellas.
The house number board for when the siding is replaced. Not nearly on the scale what Lou crafts.

If yours was one piece that is a load of weight
I had (3) pieces, then they are bolted together - easier to work with
We did lift a 1 pc beam into place at a friends house that did not have a proper beam in place in a large opening between rooms
I think there was 4 of us & his wife yelling directions lol

I have had only (1) Trick or Treater
I am going to have to TOT in reverse & go to house & say Treat & give them candy
Did not see hardly any kids out & all but 1 walked by the House
And I have decorations all over & a strobe light going
Oh well, Xmas decoration starts in less then a month

The beam weighed several hundred pounds. It was 6in by 18ft long.
